Pyrography art is a rare art medium and has been limited to craft art such as decorating gourds or old cigar boxes. Now artists are taking this medium out of the box and creating beautiful fine art pieces and applying their work to decorate fine wood furnishing pieces, guitars, frames, doors, trim, cabinets and the list goes on. The finished work is very unique to the eye, unlike any other art form, there is a look of texture and depth and beauty becoming part of the natural surface of the wood.
